Basic Figure and Gestural Drawing
Youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled adult. No experience neccessary for those who are interested in learning basic gestural and figure drawing.

Students will learn the art of gesture drawing and the basics of the human form. Gesture drawing is a rapid, simplified sketching technique that captures the essence of a subject's movement. Beginner level. No supplies needed.

You will learn to go from THIS
Learn to observe the figure and recognize the "line of action", shape and planes of contour, and values of light and shadow as they relate to the figure in the environment. You will create a drawing and with your newly acquired skills and practice at home, you will be able to see and draw in a more meaningful way.
