This synthetic bristle brush has individual hairs that have been split to replicate the natural flags on the finest natural brush. Each hair has two to three distinct tips, allowing the brush to hold a higher volume of paint while also providing a smoother application. The brush head is stiff but responsive, and unlike natural hog bristles, retains real integrity in water. Designed for use with heavy-bodied acrylics and oil paints, this short handle brush is ideal for use with heavy mediums, gels and pastes.
